The Baileys Story

In 1986, Neil Bailey, then an employee of the Royal Insurance Company, saw an opportunity in the developing insurance intermediary market. An opportunity to deliver a truly personal, professional insurance service to clients from a totally independent perspective. And not just offering products from one Insurer, but the ability to offer the most suitable solution from a range of insurers with different areas of expertise.

From modest beginnings in the family home garage, with a chair, desk, phone and clapped out photocopier, Baileys Insurance Ltd was formed (then known as “Bailey & Associates”, and has developed in to a highly respected and experienced insurance broking company.

How was a small, one man band operation able to compete with the rest of the insurance market? By listening carefully, understanding needs and responding quickly with the right solution. By always acting with absolute honesty and integrity, and having a bit of fun along the way.

It is the same philosophy today.
