General Insurance Claims
- Before completing the General Claim Form, please check the following guide, to help your claim proceed smoothly.

RESIDENTIAL / COMMERCIAL PROPERTY / PLEASURE-CRAFT AND OTHER CLAIMS:
- Please advise as soon as any loss or damage occurs.
- If the claim is for damage, please arrange for a written quote before proceeding with any repairs.
- If the claim is for a burglary or loss:
- please notify the police immediately, this is mainly to ensure that you are noted as the owner of the property should something be recovered.
- please ensure the claim form is witnessed by a JP, solicitor or similar.
- please provide any documentation you may have to support “proof of ownership” and confirmation of the amounts claimed for – e.g original receipts/warranties/photos etc, plus written quotes or invoices for the current replacement values.
- An assessor may be appointed in some cases, to help you put together the necessary information and assist in repair/replacement of property. We will advise you of this.

Vero Online Claims:
The good news is for Vero claims you can now lodge the claim direct with Vero Insurance online rather than completing a paper claim form, this will speed things up and is far less admin for you. To get things underway please click on this link:-.
Once completed if you could please send the copy of the completed form to us that would be appreciated. Once you have finished it will download automatically for you and you will get a reference number, please also send that to us.
Vero will then advise how the claim is to progress, an assessor may be appointed, and we will monitor your claim and keep you updated.
If a repairer has already been to start repairs and you have their invoice/damage report please upload that when completing the form. You can also upload photos if you have any. Photos of the damage can be very helpful and useful so please upload any that you have.
If it’s a water damage claim please contact Chem Dry, 0800145145, and quote your Vero policy number, so they can get the drying process underway.
As your brokers, we will ensure all information is appropriate before submitting the claim to your Insurers, and we will follow your claim through to completion, to ensure that it is settled properly and fairly, and excesses are waived/refunded where appropriate.
